The “Syrian Coalition” militia commits a massacre in the stricken Jenderes

Statement

Since the Turkish occupation of the Çiyayê Kurmênc – Afrin region on March 18, 2018, A.D., crimes against the Kurdish population of the region have not stopped for a single day, and perhaps the latest and most horrific of them occurred last night, March 20. March, in the town of Jenderes, where a group belonging to the militia “Sharqiya Army” /The Movement for Liberation and Construction, which is close to the Syrian Coalition and is known for harboring members and leaders of ISIS, attacked the house of a resident of the town from the “Peshmerga family” and insulted and threatened the members of that family and ordered them to extinguish the Newroz fire that the family had lit on the roof of their house without music and singing out of respect for the earthquake victims, as the city itself is still healing its wounds and mourning its victims.

The attackers not only threatened but also shot the family members in cold blood, killing three of them on the spot, while the fourth died this morning in the military hospital in Afrin, and they are:

The three brothers (Nazmi Muhammad Othman / 53/ years old – this morning, Farah al-Din Muhammad Othman / 45/ years old, and his son Muhammad Farah al-Din Muhammad / 19/ years old, Muhammad Muhammad Othman / 38/ years old).

Two people were also injured in the attack: Muhammad Muhammad / the son of the martyr Nazmi, and Firas Abdo Khalil, who has special needs.

Regardless of the place and names, the mentality that committed this horrible massacre/crime in Jenderes is the same that committed the crime in Qamishli in Newroz 2008, which also killed three martyrs, and the motive is the same, heinous racism.

We, the Kurdish Democratic Union Party in Syria, condemn this terrible crime against innocent civilians, whose only fault is that they are Kurds and wanted to light the flame of their Newroz, and hold the occupying state – Turkey – fully responsible for the chaos in which the region has been living for five years, and for thousands of crimes, committed by its mobilized Syrian mercenaries against the Kurds, and we call on the relevant international organizations to put pressure on Turkey to send back its army to the international borders, end the occupation, find a political solution to the Syrian problem and end the suffering of millions of people.

– Shame and disgrace to the murderers of criminals.

– Eternity for the martyrs of Jenderes, healing for the wounded, and patience for their families.
